I'm enjoying the show. Thank you for asking.

I'm with Carolina_Girl. Don't ACC fans have their own board to be terrible on?

What proof do we have that AU is better? Stidham is untested and they lost a lot on the DL and depth?

You are not SEC and do not belong here. Go hang out on tigernet with your fellow taters and leave all of us tf alone.
Well..If you guys did you job and took care of business perhaps things would be different. As it is, your lot has to chant SEC SEC to give some relevancy to your otherwise shitty program and ride the coat tails of the true quality programs of the SEC and take whatever charity those fan bases are willing to offer you.

I don't think Clemson will have the offensive firepower to keep up. They lost some generational talent at QB
This. Clemson is good but they're without the guy who threw 4600 yards and 50 touchdowns last season. Those are insane production numbers. There's no way one of their QBs duplicates that this year.

What I have learned reading this thread: 1) there is more confidence in AU than I expected (a good deal more--I don't think it is entirely warranted); 2) nobody really knows how either team is going to be after some retooling on offense; and 3) it has become a back-and-forth between the USCe and Auburn Lakers folks.

Tajh Boyd (The Same one that beat Auburn Twice) throw up record setting numbers before Watson so history has repeated itself and we have a 5-star guy competing for the starting job.
There is no guarantee the big numbers will continue, but dismissing things before the first snap isn't always the smartest thing to do either.

If they just repeat Tajh Boyd's numbers against Auburn I would be fine...

How many times do we gotta go over this? STOP with the "we" and "us" hahaha do you say "we played really good when we beat us on Saturday" when one of your beloved SEC schools whoops that arse pretty much every Saturday?? From everything I've read on here, that "we" and "us" stuff doesn't apply much, it's you and yours that reach for it all the time to hide behind bc yall always get that arse whooped

I'm going out on a limb and suggesting Auburn 2017 will be better than the 2012 Auburn team who went 0-8 in conference play, and the 2011 team that went 8-5. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Tajh always balled on Auburn

Surprised no one has mentioned the 2011 AU-Clemson game. It's almost the same situation, only in reverse.
AU was coming off a national title carrying a 17-game winning streak. They were losing a ton of offensive production and struggled to find an identity in the first two games of the 2011 season.
The game in Death Valley was tied at 21 at the half, but this turned out to be Boyd and Clemson's coming out party. Clemson pulled away in the second half for a 38-24 victory on their way to a 10-4 season and the Orange Bowl.

Not sure why Clempson fans are talkin shite about Stidham. Kelly Bryant hasnt done shite in college.
And from the looks of their spring game, he couldnt hit water if he fell out of a boat.

Look at that Clemson defense compared to what it is now lol

He's still supposed to be in high school (is that how you do it, Gamecocks?).
Because Bryant has been learning behind Watson for 2 years and knows the offense pretty well. Cooper and Johnson haven't played yet, but will get chance against Kent St.

He might win the Job...He is a Freshman so we will see. Dabo made a real bad mistake playing Cole Stoudt for a few game out of some loyalty over true freshman Deshaun Watson and it probably cost him the UGA game....He won't do that again with Kelly Bryant.
All I am trying to say is that the consensus here is Clemson has nothing at all to replace Watson and I think we will be fine...We will see

Kelly Bryant has been practicing against Clemson's defense and learning behind the GOAT according to all y'all. When was the last time Stidham was hit? And he will be hit at Clemson lol ALOT. Same D Line coming back to punish that O line JUST LIKE LAST YEAR. Except this time the crowd is on our side lol
