“I already knew” - watching a few shitty YouTube tutorials doesn’t mean you know what you’re doing scooter.

I know the drill. Dummies like you go in and make a mess and then the people who actually know what they’re doing (like me) have to fix it.

What about it? I'm not an expert on real estate, but I do flip houses on the side and have a few rentals. So I'm curious what you think is at fault here.

If you really want to know about the problems and why you are an economic slave, I suggest looking at the creation of money, and how inflation is a theft on the people, where the wealth and newly generated money is given out in bulk to the corporations, ceo's and what not.

Start with learning about fractional banking IMO.

Here's an old movie that does a good job of explaining that.

I want the Earth plus 5 percent.

And hey, maybe from there you can learn about Woodrow Wilson selling out the entire country by creating the central bank which is why we have a national debt - which is impossible to pay back, as money is created as debt @ interest, and the interest money is only created by creating new debt.

The creation of money btw is supposed to be handled by congress, and money should be created as needed, not as a debt to the country. This is given to them in the constitution.

Speaking of the interest, that will eventually spur hyper-inflation at a certain point, as the payments of the interest on the debt get to be too high. Which is kind of what we've been going through lately as the government keeps finding crisis reasons to dump large sums of money to corporations.

A big turning point was when we went off the gold standard, which previously limited the amount of money that could be created/inflated.

And luckily we've been able to maintain this level of inflation for so many decades because we export the inflation. You can read about the petro dollar and why we took a big interest in the middle east. Over turned Iraq's democracy after they wanted to nationalize the oil fields, and generally prevented anyone from buying oil with anything other than dollars.

Where the older generation actually fricked up is in education and allowing it to be put on the federal level and control taken away from the parents and local communications, aka centralization. Because they don't even teach basic civics anymore. None of you understand the government, and you probably even think we live in a democracy.

Are you at least competent in Real Estate?

What do you think qualifies one to be an "expert"?

You apparently know how to manage it, and are able to spot the ones that can be bought cheap, and sold higher.

So what do you think qualifies an "expert"?

It's funny, because every time you say shite like this, it really just points out how clueless you really are.

Here's a few self taught programmers you may have heard of before.

Bill Gates
Mark Zuckerberg
Jack Dorsey
Elon Musk
Steve Wozniak

The real truth: Being a good programmer is about your ability to solve problems logically. Not about memorizing syntax and such.

It sounds like your job is more like a janitors positions. Where someone else with the ideas and design of the software created things, and you have to go in with the boring arse job of trying to optimize it for whatever reason.

There are some who believe that it goes all the way back to Hamilton creating the Federal Reserve.

Nope.

Everyone of them were trained and taught about coding and programming computers.

Hell...Bill Gates didn't even create his program. He recognised the brilliance on someone else's and bought it from him for extremely cheap(comparatively) and then used his shrewd business skills to build an empire.

Yes, he knew his shite about programming and could program, but his greatest skill was his business acumen.

However, every single one of those guys you listed were not "self-taught".

In fact, they are all the complete opposite of that.

An expert would be someone who's been doing it a hell of lot longer than I have, and is the person I call when I have questions about situations that are new to me.

Not sure what this has to do with boomers ruining the country and having a negative effect on the housing markets. Just seems like you are mad.

I have no idea what y'all are talking about.

I just read that first sentence and was curious as to what you define an expert to be.

quote:

An expert would be someone who's been doing it a hell of lot longer than I have,

Longevity =/= competency.

I knows fricking morons who have been doing what they do for decades and I wouldn't consider them any kin dof expert at anything.

quote:

and is the person I call when I have questions about situations that are new to me.

I consider that to be a consult.

And that person usually wouldn't consider themselves to be an expert.

You can tell this by the way they finish the advice they've just given to me:

"But look, I'm no expert."

The Ten Greatest Self-Taught Programmers of All Time

Hell, the list is actually much longer than this or what I posted. If you think being self taught is a negative for programmers, then you simply don't know what the frick you are talking about.

And of course, those who created everything to start with are self taught.
