What exactly do you think winning a football game is supposed to give you? You just get to pretend like all others including the one you lost at home just never happened and that it's impossible you could lose again?

You mean like when Saban cut the nuts off Georgia in 2021 when you lost by 17 in a game that wasn't as close as the score since Alabama basically shut it's offense down and your QB threw multiple interceptions in desperation?
A few injuries can make a hell of a difference between games can't it?
