I know this opinion isn't very popular with a lot of folks, but I'm a teacher and a mom who's so old I was at UA when Coach Bryant was still there. I know kids make mistakes and all of the other arguments, but COME ON! When you're in this kind of position with the potential these guys have, listen to your coaches and DO THE RIGHT THING or at least be intelligent enough not to get caught.
That being said, I don't know anyone who has any credibility on questioning Malzahn on this issue. I know Bama fans don't. Just one example, Brent Calloway got another chance, for sure. We all know how that turned out.

Hey Tigerman97...out of curiosity....did McNeal had other issues prior to this? Seems pretty tough for a first time offense, so I am guessing there were other issues? Not a criticism. I was mainly wondering.

This will be the key, IMO. If he has had no other issues I would think extra conditioning would be in order.

He took one for the team. If someone doesn't get popped every now and then , people start asking questions and looking for the bag man.
