but what difference does it make
If you don' know the answer to this, you are either intentinoally being flippant or don't understand how playoffs work

JFC you got your arse kicked just two weeks ago & got punished for it. Deal with it.
Teams ahead of us have far worse losses with not nearly as good a wins that are ranked way better. That's the issue you dolt.

I see all these UGA fans bitching about the rankings & I don't know why. You're in. Congrats.
Bama has the same record & a H2H win & we're going to be forced to win the SEC in order to get in.
OK homie, let me learn you some stuff.
UGA
Wins: Clemson (17), @Texas (3), Tennessee (11)
Losses: @Bama (7), @Ole Miss (9)
Bama
Wins: UGA (10), Missouri (23), South Carolina (18)
Losses: @Vandy (yikes), @Tennessee (11)

Those teams have a better record than you or have beat you H2H. You can continue to cry about it, but the fact is if you would have beat Ole Miss you'd be ranked #2 or #3.
Again, you lost 12 days ago & were punished for it. The background of the comittee members has nothing do with it.

Miami lost 12 days ago to a shitty team (that we're going to pummel next week) and dropped 5 spots. We lost to a top 10 team and dropped 9 spots.
It's not just "I think we should be ranked higher", it's taht the committee's movements dono't make any sense.
We beat a top 7 (currently ranked 11th) tennessee team and moved up 2 spots. Alabama beat mercer and moved up 3 spots. Do you honestly not see why this is questionable?

The worst thing about any SEC @ BiG matchup is the fricking “cold weather” crap we would have to hear all week. Ugh…..

Pinkel is tied 100% to Mizzou so he would be an SEC lean. Problem is he and really the establishment of the CFB world does not really understand the dynamic happening right now. The era of the Portal and NIL has made more teams competitive then just the big dogs. No conference is that more seen then in the SEC. The teams run a gauntlet of teams that are agressiively trying to improve their team. Look at the surge of Ole MIss, Mizzou and USC improving quickly from where they were. Hell even the old beating bag, Vandy is dangerous. Note look at that fraud on The Plains, the old way is not working now. So to those stuck in the past an 11-1 Penn State is superior to a 10-2 UGA or Bama because of record. We all know the truth though.

Georgia fans should stop complaining, you’ll make the playoff, good grief.
If anyone has a valid complaint, it’s BYU or SMU. Same story every year.
Mizzou loses and stays in the same spot. BYU loses and drops 8 spots?

I think this was a compound drop. BYU got absolutely rescued against Utah the week prior. They should have 2 losses, b2b, and completely dead jn the water.
Losing to Kansas and dropping like a stone is punishment for blatant cheating against B12 refs in Utah.

Gary Pinkel
Ohio man that coached Toledo and Missouri. Was a part of the SEC for just 3 seasons. Affiliation: Big 12/midwest and a little SEC
Pinkel is 100% SEC in affiliation. He was instrumental in pushing / guiding Mizzou to the SEC.
