Whose players did Miles have his first few years at LSU? Saban (after a national championship too, dummy...not too hard to recruit after that)
Whose players did Petrino have his first few years at AR? Nutt (Look what Nutt has done with his own recruits at Ole Miss)
SO you are a "Saban's players" guy. I figured that already. Thats really sad.
How do you explain how Miles has taken Saban recruiting and has basically taken it to another level?
Kind of blows your whole theory to shite.

Tommy Smith is that you? Yeah LSU is easy to recruit to, it was not too long ago Miles was running a fake field goal on certain 4th down plays. Miles is a bumbling idiot who either is a super smart genius or a mediocre dumass. The verdict is still out on that.

This thread is proof Arkansas is in the heads of the Ratards. Way too much effort against a team they are supposed to be "superior" to.

WHy is it all about who is in each others heads? or obsessions?
Cant we just discuss the game without dumbs insults like that?

Anytime someone mentions the game there are literally hundreds of Rantards that post emoticons and then leave the thread.

I admit that I have done that too. But I am enjoying actually discussing the game with yall.

LSU had just won a national championship when Les took over, dipshit. LOL. It validates my story. You want to talk about denial..wow. Thought you had more sense than that.

Miles took over a team that was 9-3 and lost in the capital one bowl dumbass.

OK...too literal I guess for a backwoods derelict.
LSU won a national championship in 2003...Les Miles took over in 2005.
I'll correct it to...LSU had just recently won a national championship when Les took over.
Are you seriously going to say that had nothing to do with recruiting? Are you seriously going to say that Sabans recruits didn't help Les's record his first few years there and because of that success with Saban's players it didn't in turn help him in recruiting?
If you can't see that, then you are a complete and total TARD.

Good correction.

It helped but Miles still had to prove to parents and players that he will be a good leader for them.

The first couple of years Miles had players Saban recruited. That is correct. But Miles' coaching staff won the games. Not sure why you believe in some Saban aura for players that were on the LSU team 2 and 3 years after Saban was gone. That is embarrassing for you.

Les has hardware and Petrino has hope.
Posted on 11/12/11 at 11:55 am to BeeFense5
Geez you are hard headed...
OK...let's try this approach?...
Were there "good" players already on the team when Les took over? Check
Did Saban recruit them? Check
Had LSU just recently won a NC? Check
Would those two situations for any other school in the country help in recruiting? Hell Yes!
Would it definitely help in the SEC? Absolutely
Did those "good" players that he already had on his team help to win games and improve his record? Check
Does a SEC school having a good record and going to a bowl game have anything to do with recruiting? Check
So..in summation. Les's success in recruiting can be contributed to Saban plain and simple.
Let Les take over an Ole Miss school right now and see how well he does in recruiting. That's precisely what Petrino did following the exact same coach, and look what he has managed to do.
Now,... please give some sort of intelligent argument to refute this or just shut the hell up. You are making us all more retarded reading your misguided posts.
(I've never seen anyone get their arse spanked this bad on a thread either btw...you are making history, kiddo)

Wait, you posting a bunch of excuses why Petrino sucks at recruiting and why Miles is leading a steam roller means I am getting my arse spanked?
Saban had good players at LSU, yes. But when Miles took over the team. It was his team. You are not making any sense. Miles has continued to recruit greatly. He has won at an unbelievable rate. You trying to downgrade how great of a coach Miles is makes you sound like a retard.
You are a fricking joke.

Now you are definitely showing your arse..
Denial is not just a river in Egypt.
That's actually justification that Petrino is a great recruiter to have taken over for Houston Nutt and only 2 years later go 10-2 and currently 8-1.
That all you got? Your life is a joke...LoL. Good luck, friend. I have a life I have to get back to. I'm sure you will still be on here when I return though.

I said that Saban left some good talent on the team. You are the dumbass that is trying to equate Miles success 7 fricking years later to Saban's players.
