Yep. Same here about Georgia. Almost like his predicting it somehow made it happen.
Great folksy show. Reminds me somewhat of Jerry Clower.

Why not just hook up his TV to Roku?
My Dad is well into his 80s and he loves that stuff, the old stuff on YouTube.

I used to utilize the old Leonard's Loser publication during my parlay card days. It was a good reference for who the home teams were and it had all the teams schedules and results. He was funny how he wrote his predictions also, it made for a good little read.

I know what Roku is but have never used it myself. However, the rural area of the state he lives has poor service of all types. Not sure if it would work well...
However, if there is a possibility that it could work then I will definitely look into it more.

Apparently it was taped in Athens, Georgia from radio station WRFC-AM and started in 1958. Here is a Twitter feed talking about it. I used to love those shows!

The magazine I was thinking about was on newsprint but smaller than 8.5 x 11
It was usually a single color and came in stacks at the local hangouts like burger shops and liquor stores.
Hokey he may have been, but he did have a pretty good winning percentage that I remember. Seems the back was filled with pro matchups. I do not think I have seen one since the 80's.

yeah, I think those were produced by Danny Sheridan

I think they were produced with local market in place. I think Wah Wah has the UK concession and the ads were geared to the local SEC market.

I worked in radio in the Auburn area in my college days, and it was my job to dub LL off of the Alabama Radio Network feed onto a cart for playback on Saturday mornings. As mentioned before, there was no analysis of the teams' strengths and weaknesses, just a fe puns and a prediction. But he was a decent prognosticator - as I recall he was 100% on AU'S 1982 season, including what was then considered an upset of UT.
Even more obscure - we briefly aired another comic prognostication show, with more elaborate voices, sound effects and gags, including mock interviews - but I can't remember the name of it. Anyone else remember it? Mid-80s era...

I worked in radio for a bit in the late 70's early 80's, too. Grabbed some copies of American Top 40 by Casey Kasem. It came on 4-6 albums (i want to say 4) with breaks to insert local commercials.
Like an idiot I got rid of them when everything started going to CD, because I figured I wouldn't be able to play the albums.

At first glance I thought this would be about Fournette
