Arch only loses to unranked opponents.

Which means LSU is going to blow Texas out of the water.

Who has LSU beaten? Right now, LSU's biggest bragging rights are: "We lost to both Ole Miss and Kentucky, but they were close loses."

Well, if LSU beats their brakes off, so much the better.

I think it's obvious that whoever loses this game is out.

Actually us LSU fans can see the writing on the wall. Sankey, REC & media doing work to drag our rankings down to we’re they’ll still be enough reasonable doubt to leave us out even if we win out.

Stop crying. Your resume is weak with 2 losses coming from the best 2 teams you've played. Texas A&M is your best win.

But you have 3 good teams in the next 3 weeks and if you win them all, you'll be in the top10, probably even the top5.

You have nothing to cry about. LSU controls it's future.

Will LSU win out? I doubt it.

That's an interesting question.

LSU will likely be the favorite in their remaining games. So going off that you would think they are in. My model that uses just that has them #6 predicting them to go 10-2, and that's #6 if no other teams ahead get upset(unlikely).

Yet, they have a much lower chance of making the playoffs than even a team like Alabama because they have 3 tough opponents and need to win all 3.

That drops them down to about 64% chance to make the playoffs, aka 36% chance they will drop a game.

But there is more.

The 2 losses LSU has is against their 2 best opponents played thus far. And those 3 remaining tough teams are all rated higher than the 2 teams they lost too.

Tennessee is just barely ahead of Ole Miss in power rankings, I'd say near equal.
Texas is about 5% higher than Ole Miss.
Alabama is about 10% higher than Ole Miss.

And if you go by their best win, Texas A&M, then you can go another 10%, so Tennessee is 10% higher power than their best win, Texas 15%, Alabama 20%.

LSU is mostly the favorite and has higher power ratings because of how they have blown out mid tier teams. So while favorites in games that is a tough stretch to make it undefeated in, and they have no history of beating teams that good.

And they play those 3 back to back, the last game of the season for them is Arkansas.

If they pull it off, can't say they didn't earn it.

Fair. No losses outside of playoff teams too.

You're not dropping over 10 spots after a close lose to Bama.
