[quote]The fans have spoken, they voted him the #1 QB in the SEC this past week, on SBNation. Don't tell me it's b/c of USC's VAST national following. People can see he's a winner, you're just homering b/c he plays you next.[/quote

This would be a good thread on its own. Learn how to use the board.

It wasnt a knock on Shaw, hes a good QB. But he Tennessee and SC have different styles of offense. Tennessee is more focused on throws that stretch the D vertically and last week UGA had to keep their safeties back and respect that allowing for more rushing yards

Chances for OVER are pretty good: Lattimore is recovering from a season-ending injury, and is improving with every week. His season best thus far was his very last game....yes, it was Kentucky, but his 108 yds (6.0 ypc) and 2 TDs in the 2nd half alone was as vintage Lattimore as any other time.
Also, I'd imagine that we will want to keep our offense on the field as long as we can, especially in the 2nd half....the I formation has worked great for us, using Gilchrist at FB and Shaw under the center, so I imagine we'll see a LOT of this.
Will depend on our OL's ability to block, and on our defense containing UGA's passing game and limiting their scoring...if UGA gets out to a 2-TD lead, Spurrier will want us to throw the ball more...

Over unless our defense plays a lot better than they have all season which seems unlikely against Lattimore.

His best game this year is barely over 100 yards against Kentucky? Hmmm..
Looks like the bigger question will be can USC contain Gurley.

Most of that was in the second half.
HBC was not running him much the first.

If we don't stop that read option early Latt and Connor both might get more than 100 rushing yards

16 carries for 108 were Latt's 2nd half numbers. Only had 6 carries for 17 yards in first half, or something like that.

I think both defenses show up this week and its a 17-14 type affair so I say under

Under. I'll go as far as to say him and shaw combined wont go over 140

I'll take the over. Once UGA realizes we can actually throw the ball they will have to play some defense and won't be able to just stack the box.
Of course it will all depend on line play.

How does he do Saturday?
Over/under set at 140 yards
If he goes over 100 yards we lose.
