Well last time we played UGA we won by more than one score. It’s not meant to be a shot at UGA, but Texas’ win over UGA is as relevant to tomorrow’s game as LSU’s win over UGA. It’s not relevant.

You’re right it’s a pathetic excuse, nobody has to accept an invitation to a bowl game and if the excuse makers had ever strapped on the pads before they’d know you can’t half arse it during a football game at that level and not get knocked out or seriously injured. The “they didn’t really care” excuse is pure fantasy and Texas earned that win. Having said that LSU is going to beat Texas tomorrow and effectively end your playoff aspirations.

It would have mattered big time if OU was good enough to beat UGA. Thankfully OU cant beat elite SEC teams in meaningful games.
