I'm glad DJ Mccarthy is gone and if true, think it was wrong and bad reflection on LSU.

What did JJ do wrong!

Suspended 1 game for positive drug test.
Following week, breaks curfew, goes out with 2 teammates that commit armed robbery, and is driving the car carrying a bag of dope. Those facts are not disputed. You see nothing wrong with that behavior?

I saw one media person say that he was suspended for the Memphis game for failing a drug test. Surely it would have been leaked through more sources if that was the case. And he was not driving the Prius, the girl was and she was carrying the dope at the time they were pulled over near Gibbs Hall. And I too hope that McCarthy didn't pay anyone, that is downright Bamaesque and a terrible reflection on our conference.

This entire think has been a cover up by the local DA. I think it is better for them to leave the little thug on the team. It will cause dissention on the team when he allows some players to do one thing yet other players pay the price.

Kiffin will last 2 more years maybe and during that two years he will set the program back another 5 years.

I had lunch today with an ex Tennessee player that graduated in 86. He said the poers that be in KNoxville have already sat him down and told him to shut his fricking mouth.

Kiffin isn't in charge of things in Knoxville like Saban is in Tuscaloosa.

Assuming he didn't test positive the week before, you agree he did something to get suspended? Do you agree he broke curfew? Do you agree he was with the guys that attempted robbery? Do you agree he was in the car with a chick with dope? Do you think he is a good rep for UT?

Yes I agree that he did something to get suspended for the Memphis game, I think that it was more than likely an incident on the strip. I'm not sure that UT players have an official curfew during the week, but they do weightlifting at 6 AM so its somewhat implied. And yes he was in the car with a chick that had dope after an armed robbery was committed. I am in the camp that if he missteps again he should be removed from the program.

Fair enough. I think UT may have made a mistake by slapping his wrist for that, at least as viewed by the rest of the SEC.

I guess time will tell if Kiffin is on the right track.

I think Kiffin did the right thing, he was suspended "indefinately" (3 games ultimately) while all the CORRECT information was gathered. JJ has an NFL future in front of him as long as he keeps his head on straight. And thank you for being one of the few that actually realizes only time will tell. I think as time goes on and UT improves Kiffin will say much less, but he is never the coach that will remain completely silent. I just can't wait to see what the product looks like when we have solid talent across the board.

10 wins won't get you into the SECCG anytime soon with what is going on in Tuscaloosa.

Wow this thread is pretty retarded. JFreak is the only one using actual facts.

Janzen Jackson was found completely innocent. The whole thing was on fricking tape.

Kiffin was right about Jamarcus Roadkill. Al Davis calls Kiffin a lyer, and Al Davis is batshit insane. I'd take it as a complement.

Try again, boys.

Ouch, well apparently Urban reads TD and after reading this said he's had the rights on that strategy for a while. He even has a licensed catch phrase. He yells to the NCAA, "You've been CUMmed on again!"

Just be careful I wouldn't want you to get into legal trouble

Kiffin will be beaten into submission by repeated embarrassments at the U. of Tennessee and begin to comply. He is too stupid and arrogant to continue down his road to destruction and survive much longer without some kind of changes. Maybe UT will organize a "Matron Squad" to keep Kiffin on the straight and narrow.

The posters who quote Al Davis as fodder against Kiffin, crack me up. There main point of contention, as stated many times, was Kiffin's adamant request not to draft Russell, because, well, he knew he was going to be a bust... Al Davis was all about Russell, and now we see the results... Who was right, who was wrong? I think we all know the answer to that....

And Gator Princess is always good for a laugh, not exactly with what she posts, but mainly AT what she posts...

But, all in all, glad we're a 7-5 team that doesn't matter to anyone on here and we'll never be nothing again and Kiffin is the worst coach ever invented by Jesus Christ and, yet still Bama and Gator fans still can't seem to STFU about us.... That's pretty telling....

Innocent does not equal not prosecuted. Completely innocent of out after curfew? Riding in a car with thugs? Riding in a car with a bag of weed?

hahahahahahaha,

Do you really think ya'll are going to win again in death valley? And just who is your starting QB going to be? And just who will be guarding TT or RR? You are going to get smoked next year in death valley. What a freakin joke

UT will have tons of question marks, no doubt. But to say we are going to get smoked? Who knows. I know one thing, it didn't seem to matter who guarded anyone this year in route to the 108th ranked offense in the country. Pretty pathetic considering the talent. It appears that everyone had success and our defense won't be a push-over.
