And the redzone play calling has been shite for awhile too. Auburn, Chattanooga, LSU.

...

These are things LSU fans believe.

They honestly believe the media has not second guessed Saban once in the past 6 years.

may I remind you that the dynasty was declared "dead" 26 straight wins ago.

You've got two examples of how Kiffin is completely responsible for Bama's offensive problems for the last two games. Meanwhile ignoring the fact that Kiffin's playcalling is one of the main reasons Bama's running game is able to gash people the way they do.

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but I'm convinced.

You guys can spin this however you like, but the smart move would have been to do this after the SEC Championship Game, and have Sark handle everything in the bowl prep, and all game planning

Agree - and Saban probably regrets not doing that. But that's in the past now and he had to make a decision now.

That's what many people who are focusing on Washington alone don't realize.

Our offense has been struggling badly overall the past 4 games.

I don't think anyone here is saying Sark is ending anything. Just that this move at this time was obviously not part of the process, and that is carries risk.

Bama is just bringing in a guy who's supposedly had no contact with players in a coaching capacity to coach the NC game with a freshman QB.

Seems like a great idea to me

You just dropped your OC one week before the National Championship.

Well who knew

We have people on our very own little corner of the internet that know better than Nick Saban in regards to what is best for Alabama.

Did Sark ever have an offense in the top ten?

Man come on - do you want me to run down the game log and write up each drive? Because I can.

Yea, that was the case for 2.5 years. I made the argument repeatedly. He lost that the last 2 games. We quit doing the same flow things we did for 12 games, especially against Washington.

We gashed Florida and Washington from the first minute of the game. Lane's choices on when to throw and when to give Hurts difficult playcalls with limited options were maddening.

But listen, if you want to be convinced that all Bammers are just pumping sunshine then have at it. I don't have any idea how this works, and the whole thing is pretty nervewracking, but as someone who very closely watches Alabama football and very much appreciated what Lane brought to the table, I can tell you the last 2 weeks were by far the 2 worst football games he has called and we have been prepared for since he has been at Alabama. And that includes the Ohio State game.

Personally, I had hoped Saban would wish Lane on his way to FAU post-Florida. I didn't think there was any way Lane could handle 2 jobs responsibly. I think Saban is regretting that now.

Will it get better with Sark on Monday? I have no frickin idea.

I didn't say interacted, I said "coached".
What's the difference?

Either Bama will win or they'll lose. Saban thinks Sark gives them the best chance to win. That's good enough for me. Kiffin has been great, but he's been garbage since taking another job.

Says the fan tripping over himself that a coach who hasn't called plays in over a year is now in charge for a national title game. With a week to prepare. And a freshman quarterback.

Honest question- do you think this was Saban's master plan, or a last-minute patch because he didn't act on the downward trend of your offense sooner? Saban makes this move after the SECCG, and no one says a word.

I don't need to follow the games closely to know that firing your OC a week out from the NC is a bad thing

I didn't need to know that making a statement like that without looking at other variables and dynamics... is because you're an LSU fan

See I can make stupid, generic statements too...

So, he was able to do it for 2.5 years, but it broke down when teams finally had tape on how he was forced to us his extremely limited freshman QB?

Kiffin obviously "just lost it". It has nothing to do with Hurts' limitations becoming more evident and defenses taking advantage of it. Nothing at all.

Agree. I'm less worried now about the game plan and play calling for Monday and going forward.

A week?

How naive are you? Sark was an analyst. He's probably seen 100+ hours of Clemson film

and no one is a freshman in week 15.
