Yeah ... we actually do still refer to them as The Lady Gamecocks. Dawn Staley regularly refers to them as "The Ladies."

Having daughters on a HS drill team, it’s hilarious seeing all the attempts to feminize a mascot at competitions (-ettes, -ellas, Belles, etc.)
