Kenneth Davis' nephew Derrick is his lead blocker!:rimshot:

Saw him play Friday night. He is as good as advertised. He is a gamebreaker. Scored a 60 yard td on his first carry from scrimmage. His Oline is not that good but they are improving. Their starting quarterback hurt his shoulder Friday night. The backup qb is a much better runner. For Lache's sake, I hope they go to more of an option look with this quarterback even though he threw well Friday. I think Lache will be more productive with another fast guy in the backfield with he and Davis. Davis is a good athlete who is a little overweight but really strong.
Would love to see him at LSU.

LSU had to start all over at QB. AGAIN.

ALOT of LSU fans went overboard with the hype of Jefferson before the year touting his 2 starts.

We are basically in the same place as we were last year with a brand new QB running the offense. I think the coaches are taking a "knee-jerk" reaction with the offense and don't want Jefferson to be made into another Lee headcase.

So, this leads us having an "identity" crisis on offense. I believe Jefferson should be much better next year, and the vast majority of LSU fans were expecting too much too soon.

That may be.

Link? The dude was thrown to the wolves. Sure some of the INTs were just panic-decisions, but most were stupid playcalling. Notice they're protecting JJ A LOT more. Lee is LSU's best chance at a good passing game.

I don't see why they started over. Lee took his lumps, perhaps he improves like Stafford.

This is what i said. The coaches had a "knee jerk" reaction to Lee's struggles last year, and are trying to prevent it from happening to Jefferson at all costs. I'm not happy with some of the play calling. The defenders are starting to read that "out route" when we call that play. We aren't utilizing the middle of the field at all.

Don't know, and I am not for Lee starting over Jefferson. We're winning games. We're not pretty doing it, but we're doing it.

However, I wish we would have put up more points on ULL, so that Lee could have gotten in the game to throw more than one pass. I think there may have to count on him a few times this year. JMHO.

There were Auburn, Tennesse, Texas, OU, SoCal, and other LSU fans at his game and we were all repping our teams colors.
The Auburn fans, three guys and two girls, sat a row below my seat. Coming back from the concession stand I said hi to them. They seemed irratated by my trying to be friendly. One of the guys finally said hi back but none of them even smiled. Is that Auburn fan a poster here? Is this normal behavoir for Auburn fans? I didn't talk with any of the other team's fans but they all seemed irrated when they saw my LSU shirt and cap.
i think the tenseness I felt might have been due to everyone wanting Lache to come to their school so badly. Were any of you guys the fans from any of these other schools? Is the tenseness caused by your desires for this 17 year old to attend your school?

I'm going to go out on a limb and expect the OL to be improved later this year and next year......I guess.
