no he hasn't. He's done really well filling in for Murray, but Murray was one of the best back in the league last year.

expect Henry to be a beast next year if he gets workhorse carries

I think he 100% starts for the Titans next year. We'll see how well he does when he's shouldering the lion's share of the carries.

is this the best you can do. i mean really? when yeldon was starting last year, he averaged 3.6 ypc. backups many times do average more ypc than starters around the league. that doesn't mean they're better or more productive than the starter. Le'Veon Bell, a top 1-2 back in the league, only averaged 4.0 ypc this year. His backup, James Connor, averaged 4.5 ypc. Does that mean he's better?

7 of the top 10 rushers in the league averaged 4.1 ypc or less. The only backs with the volume of Fournette that averaged significantly more ypc were Gurley and Hunt, and Hunt's ypc plummeted as the season wore on.

Again.

Fournette almost has more carries than Yeldon has had his entire career this year. More carries = less YPC. It’s simple mathematics.

Yeldon only has 400 more yards but 4 less TDs too. Yeldon has been below par period.

Mark Ingram got out rushed by Blake Bortles today, worse than Leonard Fournette.

That narrative is retarded considering LF still finished with more carries.

No it’s just that you stupid fricks continue comparing LSU and Bama backs every 5 minutes. They are ALL excellent backs regardless of what anyone says. So as per usual, OP is delusional as frick.

Ingram had a whopping 22 yds today. Does that make him a terrible back? No, not at all.

He didn’t get to rush against the likes of Eastern Michigan or Texas Tech today.

I believe fornette's total against Bama is

57 carries for a grand total of 145 yards in 3 games

This is probably why he eclipsed Ingram's rookie numbers by week 5

You know it’s bad when you are 2nd tier RB on your own pro team

You don’t have to like it. Yeldon was better.

It's kind of like his Sophomore year at Bama. He was technically the backup, but he had more yards than the starter on less carries. His third year in college he ran wild and won the Heisman. Indication of a huge 3rd year coming for Henry???

Took Ingram what, 6 years to reach 1000 yards? Give LF some room, dude got 1000 year one.

There are 6 players with more carries than LF, and all 6 of them have a higher YPC average than LF.

As a saints fan. Mark Ingram before this season was butterfingers. He fumbled in key situations that cost us games. Finally after 7 years he’s actually doing something. Henry didn’t exactly light it up his first year.

I think it'll be safe to say Derrick Henry is a better RB. Fournette has always been overrated, as any good LSU football player maybe besides Honey Badger.

People need to remember out of HS he was considered to be the next AP and a "once in a decade" type RB.
