feel sorry for Rashada. He was promised a fortune to flip from Miami. He did and then the Gators said “ too bad. We ain’t paying”. Who wouldn’t take 13 mil - even to go to UF - if it was offered.
He won’t get 13 mil at UGA but he will be well compensated and Georgia’s collectives will actually pay. Not like UFs.

One of the articles I read pointed out he was promised nothing to go to UGA.

That indicates UGA is still doing the same thing they had been doing before when it comes to recruits and transfers. Instead of saying "We'll give you this if you come to UGA.", instead UGA says "UGA players at your position got between X and Y in NIL money. Starters averaged Z. Non-starters averaged W."

Rather than guaranteeing a deal, it's a matter of giving them the information about what the deals they get are likely to be depending on what level of success they have.

That’s what Ive heard too. Kirby doesn’t promise recruits anything but quality coaching, a chance to compete for play time and a chance to make it to the NFL. They are likely told by the collectives how much players at their position get but nothing is promised.
Kirby has enough on his plate to deal with. That’s what the collectives do

BTW Georgia was winning that UGA /UF game by double digits until our QB was injured and had to leave the game. But the Gators will live on that game for years. It’s all they have
Sounds very familiar to a game in the 2021 season that Georgia fans get really mad about when you talk about injuries costing a team a game.

How so?
Pretty sure that is the same game in which Bama fans ignore all of the backups playing for uga.

The difference was that UGA was down to their fourth string QB. And this QB had not fully regained all his skills after emergency brain surgery. It was the Covid year and sickness had taken its toll on player game and practice time.
We didn’t whine about this game 24/7 either. Not like Bama did

Not really.

UGA fans aren't claiming UGA would have won. We were ASKED why UGA didn't win in 2020 and gave an explanation. The loss happened and UGA fans gave what they believed the reasons were. Being down to a 4th string QB is a reasonable answer to the question asked.

If UGA fans were asking Bama fans why they lost in the 2021 national championship, it would be comparable. But I've never seen a UGA fan ask that question. Yeah, we pointed out to Bama fans that we did in fact beat Bama in the national title game when they talk about the national title game, but we never asked for reasons or excuses. Bama fans bring those out on their own.

It's also the reason why UGA doesn't make excuses for losing to Bama in the SEC title game. There are plenty of reasons why that loss happened, beyond the reason Bama fans would grasp on. But it doesn't matter. We lost the game.

We just won the rematch and the rematch is the one that really mattered.

And that game that really mattered was so sweet! And Bama whining like a 2 year old who just had his favorite toy snatched away made it even sweeter
