The only way I see it as possible, would be for the Auburn boosters to gargle Freshwater's balls. Full taint lick, get the frick out of my way program control. You'll need to have cheerleaders feeding him grapes and fanning him with palm frawns during booster events.
But can he really trust the Awburn Fambly? They're notorious ruthless, and it's a helluva rebuild. Both their rivals just played for the SEC and National championships. I'm not sure any team has ever their 2 main rivals be the top 2-3 programs in the country.
Kiffen could probably do good at Auburn. But I could see him waiting for more of a blueblood job to open up with much less baggage.

Agreed. I do think Auburn is the hardest job in the conference though. Interesting to see how the new scheduling format affects the hardness of Auburn’s yearly schedule

If there was just another example of that very thing happening this very season. I guess we'll never know.
