Forida and LSU are very even..from SEC titles to National titles to head to head record. The big difference was probably the AD he would have as a boss.

Saban and LSU AD Ausberry are good friends so they were both in Lane’s ear
I think Lane is swayed very easily. Especially by people he respects.

Yeah that quote is not him saying LSU was the best job or he regretted leaving LSU. It is Saban saying he made a mistake going to the NFL
