Bo fricking hoo. SC could have said the same thing after being stuck playing A&M for a decade just to protect TSIO and the Iron bowl.....

OU got Missouri because of our shared history through the Big 6-7-8-12 obviously. And Texas goes without saying.
But I think both OU and 'Ole Miss would have liked Arkansas. 'Ole Miss has played them straight for over 40 years and in bowl games before that.
OU has a boatload of fans who live in Arkansas these days... And Arkansas fans are all over eastern Oklahoma... and until recently, Tulsa was the largest collection of Arkansas grads in the country outside the state of Arkansas.
For that matter, Jerry Jones made his oil fortune mostly while living in OKC.
