Sumlin chewed out JFF on the sideline, and benched him for the rest of the game. Not all dirty laundry needs to be aired publicly.

The Honor Code: "Aggies don't lie, cheat, or steal nor tolerate those who do."
It has been applied to academic cheating and plagerism, but is also expected of Aggies, both current and former students. For some reason, the fricking longhorns and all the former SWC fans like to rub it in A&M's face at every possible turn. The most effective response has always been "what is _____'s honor code"? Usually shuts them the frick up without further discussion.
So, ESPN, LSU, BAMA, Arky, anybody else. What is your honor code? Let's have a look.

Sumlin is gone after this year, regardless of how the season turns out. He will either leap to another college job or the NFL.
It is clear that he has no control over his Johnny, because he has to run everything by the boosters and behind the scenes string pullers first and they are vetoing it.
If it were up to him Johnny would have been punished severely a long time ago.
