It’s a shame Oscar returning and Cason Wallace are getting wasted on this squad this year. Unless this group has a Knight and Co.-esque turnaround, they won’t make the tournament at this rate.

I’ve still been disappointed in Oscar. He hasn’t gotten better at all and his defense is atrocious. FTs are awful and he still doesn’t know how to pass out of a double team

I think some of this is intentional from Cal. UK fans don't worship at his feet anymore, and his ego can't take it. No way this team should be this bad.

I don’t think he’s 100% and Cal has way underplayed that knee surgery he had. If it was just a scope for scar tissue then he wouldn’t have taken that long to get back to 100.
That said, you got guys double and triple teaming him because there’s literally no one else to draw the defense off of him.
It’s simple. Pack the paint and hit some shots and you easily beat this UK team.

This isn’t 100% on Cal either. I’m not giving him credit but there’s some guys out there playing with absolutely 0 effort. And some “shooters” that can’t hit the broad side of a barn, even on gimmies and free throws.
