Yeah because Lattimore (ie our best player) got hurt. He was crushing UK before he went out, and assuming he will be playing next season.. you can expect more of the same. Not to mention that was UKs 1st win over SC in 11 years. On top of the fact that UK hasn't won in Columbia since 1999 combined with the way that UK won last year shows that the Wildcat win last year was more of a fluke, an exception more than the rule.

Hell as a UK fan I wouldn't point out that we beat #1 'Bama the week before because that gives people the window to use the "letdown" excuse.

I dont think UK will win 9 games this year. They may go 5-7. I just want to see UK compete every year. To do that they have to beat solid teams. I know everyone is bashing UK football. They play hard year in and year out. When UK does win why does it have to be a fluke? Its the SEC, you can never doubt anyone.

Hamilton nixed Kiffin's plans to wear silver pants in 09, but you best believe we'll be wearing gold pants in 2034.

Western Kentucky
Central Michigan
Louisville
Florida
@LSU
@South Carolina
Jacksonville State
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
@Vandy
@Georgia
Tennessee

6-6 with the outside shot of pulling an upset or two.

I'll believe we beat UTk when I see it. We've had the better team for four years now, and we still haven't beaten them.

Florida is the one team that we always stand zero chance against. No matter how decent we are, they kill us year in and year out.

We stand an outside chance against all of the others, and always manage to sneak in an upset. However, we also always lose one game that we are favored in and are supposed to win, so it still only equals out to six wins.

In the last decade, it's fairly commonplace...

To be fair, the game has been a toss up for the last several years, as I stated in my previous post.

just saw that. i don't buy that. 2009 was just an awful fluke. i will give you 2010 should have been way closer but i mean yall didn't want to win more than we didn't want to.

i will never call a UK vs UGA game IN ATHENS a toss up. because it isn't. if yall win its an upset. not a toss up.

I guess UGA fans will blame it on Mark Richt if they lose to Kentucky this year as well.

That's fine, but the record and final scores of the last few years say otherwise. I respect the hell out of UGA football, but y'all have fallen very far.

UK will have to beat them eventually. After all, Navy broke their 40-something year streak vs. Notre Dame.

Honestly, last year was "the year." Tennessee was a mess and had true freshmen starting everywhere, with their third coach in as many years. UK should have won that game.
