People were lined out of Rupp for hours before the Arkansas game last year just to watch your team get ran out of their own gym

I mean, no one thinks he’s a bad coach, he just desperately needed a change of scenery. He had basically been treating the fans as a nuisance. That’s fine as long as you’re winning, but he had gone five years without advancing past the second round. At UK, that’s a non-starter. He lost his edge after his undefeated team lost to Wisky in the Final Four. Recruiting was still good, but after Coach K started doing the one and done thing, Duke began bringing in the same level of classes that UK had from 2009–14. It was in the best interest of both parties for a divorce to take place.

We have beaten a top 10 team and top 20 team. We will be ranked inside the top 15 come Monday. Why would we think about firing him?
