Why wow? He their stud?

Nevermind....

OMAHA, Neb. — South Carolina is putting its season on the shoulders of its most proven and iconic player today when senior left-handed pitcher Michael Roth takes the mound against Kent State at noon in an elimination game at the College World Series.

The game was supposed to be played Wednesday night, but was postponed because of rain. USC’s starter was supposed to be freshman lefty Jordan Montgomery, but coach Ray Tanner switched to Roth. Montgomery will start tonight at 9 against Arkansas if USC beats Kent State. He hasn’t pitched since the NCAA tournament Regional-clinching win over Clemson on June 3.

I know it's Germans, just posting for people that didn't hear of the change.

Kent St coach didn't sound too confident on xm. I think he knows they're out of gas.

Figured they would save him for tonight, they had the other guy ready to go last night. Good news for us.

Tanner changed his mind after the rain out last night. Kinda weird he was ok with him sitting last night but not this morning.

Yes, he did. Early on though, at this level it helps seeing a guy a time or two. Although, he's one of the best.

I fully expect USC to win by a pretty good margin. I doubt Kent St has much in the tank.
