Does it really matter? Stop and think about what all has to happen to accomplish a no hitter. Pitcher has to be on and dealing…defense has to be on point if not lights out. A half decent bunt can end a no no. You can play the “wHo WeRe YoU pLaYiNg” card all you want but at the end of the day…19K, no hit, one HBP shy of a PG, deny all you want but that’s fricking impressive. 3 less hits from Anderson and nobody would be debating this lol

You are correct, he missed most of the season with a shoulder injury. No point in debating what ifs but be glad you got him early in the rehab…fast forward a couple months and LSU might have been the victim of the no no…that 4 seam was nasty, they knew it was coming and still couldn’t touch it. Makes it even more impressive imo. Downplay the opponent all you want but a no no and one pitch shy of a PG against ANY D1 team is fricking impressive regardless who you are playing

LSU is in the CWS finals with a 1-0 lead. Who do they post about? Gage Wood
sorry your “ace” isn’t good enough to post a no hitter.

To be fair he didn't face Murray St in a midweek game. He was too busy getting ready for championship weekend.
And why is ace in quotes? I guess we'll see where he gets drafted in a couple of weeks.
