What he cares about is winning, and winning a national title (or more). He spent the past few years at Ole Miss showing he's ready to do so. It's not going to happen there, that was auditioning for the big programs. I'm sure he'd like to coach this team in the playoffs (in a vacuum), but he has to make a business decision. LSU's best teams win titles. Florida's best teams win titles. Ole Miss' best teams can maybe make a 12 team playoff.
Both LSU and Florida called, and said "we're ready to take you now", and that's where he's at. He won't have this chance again, not like this year, with 2 options ready to throw money at him, and his stock at an all-time high.
