Since Miles has been the coach, Auburn has lost 31% of their games and has gone through three coaches. LSU has lost 20%. Both have one NC. LSU has won 6 out of the last 7 years of their meetigs, anything else?

More talent, especially veteran talent on that 2006 team than 2007.

The 2007 team was replacing FOUR 1st rounders, including two top 5 picks, and was pretty thin on defense actually. We didn't have a whole lot of backups that were ready to come in and contribute in a major way and it showed after Dorsey was assaulted.

He's a great recruiter and that's one of the most important aspects of being a great coach in college.

Yeah he lucked his way into a national title in 07, but that gets cancelled out by having luck work against him in 11.

I guess you can't get into a debate or argument anymore.

It's like people get trophies on here just for intentionally starting a poor one.

Making an ill-advised QB change like 9 games into a season you were steamrolling everyone isn't bad luck. It's bad coaching.

You've spent the last two pages back tracking.

Oh I thought you meant Auburn instead of Kentucky ....

Oh well I just meant we needed a little luck...

Just stop.

Right because Alabama struggles with statuesque QBs

oh and it was like 5 games into the season, not 9

You're about five pages late. His record against AU has nothing to do with anything. I have no problem admitting LSU has been better, and certainly more consistent, than AU since Miles arrived.

Unlike some of you guys I can remove my head from my arse when discussing my team.

I didn't say either of these things

You are really scratching the bottom of the barrel if you're throwing shite like this up there

Miles got lucky in 07 by games outside their control going their way.

He got unlucky in 11 in the exact same way.

If those games in 11 go different LSU gets a different opponent in the title game, one they would have most likely handled.

Luck giveth and luck taketh away, that's sports.

The important thing is to be consistently good so that when the breaks go your way you're in position to take advantage of them.

Auburn is going to learn this lesson very soon. At least we cashed in our "luck" year.

Yes, they really struggled with Jefferson. I mean he led them to 9 points in two games. Lee never could have matched that level of success.

Haha ok, 8 games into the seaons JJ had attempted 10 total passes in garbage time. The alabama game, the 9th game is when he became the main guy running LSU's offense.

Damn, dude, you are horrible at this.

Jordan jefferson came back in the 5th game of the season against Kentucky. They did bring him back slowly but he played significant series, not just garbage time. Lee wasn't exactly Peyton manning out there, either. We had 2 very average QBs and they played or didn't largely based on how their strengths matched up with the opposition. That's the definition of GOOD coaching.

It is really difficult to have this conversation with you when you lack basic understanding of what actually happen.

You know which quarterback has the most wins over Alabama since Saban has been their coach?

Jordan Jefferson.
