JL was an abomination. Just because yall had a QB that sucked that bad, doesn't mean every new QB is going to suck like that.

The bigger question will be can Les learn from his coaching mistakes? There was no way that guy should have been starting the entire year ahead of JJ. Talent wise, it was no contest. Yall will have to overcome those kind of decisions too.

I really dont like to say that I know Les made the wrong decision. I am not at every practice and I dont see the kids everday like the coaches do so I dont think Im in a position to make those decsions. Plus it has always been that way at LSU even when Saban was here. Our fans always think the guy on the bench is better. randall>jamarcus flynn>jamarcus. So i think alot of the stuff about lee being so bad is initiated by our own fan base. You watch if jefferson comes in and has a few bad series people will be calling for russel shepard.

Thanks. I dont mean to come off as an a-hole, I just dont like talking crap that isnt relevant to whats going on now. I try my hardest to be objective and not sit here and say LSU is the best at everything because we are not but of course i will have some bias and dont mind admitting it.

I can agree with that

I think Dr. Feelgood covered that one pretty well. It was obvious in earlier games that JJ was lost. JL had flashes of brillance just enough to keep us scratching our heads. End the end, it was a guessing game that took the entire season to learn the answer.

I think the only really bad decision Les made was the co-DC fiasco.

how do you think bama will do with a new QB. I see what happen to LSU last year with a new QB. Seems hard to do very well.

I see from 8 to 10 wins. We have a ridiculously easy schedule and I expect our defense to be pretty good. Our O-line along with QB will be the determining factor. I understand it's hard for a new QB, but for everyone that wants to compare JL and yall situation to a new QB is getting kinda ridiculous too. It's pretty rare for any QB to do what he did last year.

Honestly.. I have no idea. If I just had to name a name, I'd say McElroy, only because he was the backup last year. Hopefully after spring there will be a bit more info to gleam from the situation.

eta.. RB.. forgot.. lol

It will be by committee. Ingram/Richardson/Upchurch if healthy. There will be a couple others seeing the field, but I think those three get the bulk.

I would hope so, but as long as we can grind it out, I'll be happy. Ingram isn't afraid of running into some bodies, but we also need someone with vision that can see the holes and make a break when something isn't there.

think any freshmen will earn a starting spot? Maybe Fluker on the OL?

I'm not sure about Fluker starting. We got that other kid out of Jr. College supposed to be really good. Fluker might see some time, but I think he may get the RS this year. I could see Dre starting at some point, Richardson possibly also.

Dre - CB starter from day one

Trent - TB by mid season

Fluker - will not start

Nico - Alot of playing time but not start

That is about it IMO
