Can Bama frick shite up like they have all season? If they dominate Watson is nullified and y'all run away with another Notre Dame type title game.
If Watson is allowed space and time then it's game on.
Sounds about right to me.

Bama struggles against QBs who can throw and run ala Manziel and Kelly

So does every team in CFB history, Jesus it's not only Bama and this isn't last year or the year before.

He had 58 yards on 11 carries if you don't count the sacks. That's decent imo.

Yeah but how many yards can be discounted from his head falling forward and tacking on an extra yard?

In passing efficiency Watson is 12th in the nation. Playing in the ACC.
Chad Kelly 13th.
They have identical ratings: 155.9
Brandon Allen (yes that Brandon Allen, from Arky) is 5th.
Dobbs is 70th.

It doesn't make sense to bring up what past Alabama teams had trouble defending. Last time I checked, Kirkpatrick, Milliner etc.., were playing in the NFL.

Keep throwing billboard material to the defense

Josh Dobbs threw for a massive 2240 yards this season and had the 8th best passer rating.

I expect Clemson to make some plays, but if our offense comes to play and establishes the run then the defense shouldn't have to be on the field too long.

Every team has got to believe in their guy. Hell, I thought Fournette was going to give Bama problems. We see how that turned out.

Chad Kelly was pretty pedestrian against Bama. Outside of those two plays( one that should not have counted) he had 200 yards and was about 50% completion. Manziel had Mike Evans who Bama had no answer for.

I think the game comes down to Bama's OL. Coker is vulnerable to getting out of sorts and he probably played his best game he will ever play last game. IF he gets a lot of pressure, I expect the real Coker to appear, and Bama would be in trouble. However, if he is well-protected, I think he continues to find success and we won't know how close Bama is to folding the tent at qb.

Yep. Not only did he get 40% of his yardage on two highly improbable plays (helmet bounce & man downfield/line of scrimmage). He had his worst completion percentage of the entire season against Bama.

Dobbs is a fricking chihuahua. His QB play is trash. One of the most forgettable QBs in a long, long time. Who cares?
