Meyer is very Belichick like in regards to injuries. I'm not expecting Tebow to play either, but the people who really know aren't telling people who they think would announce it on internet. We don't need Tebow to smack down LSU anyways, Johnny is more than capable.

I don't think the Tigers (with all due respect) have done anything to date that scares many right now.

You could say the same for FL at this point FWIW.

Didn't wanna make a new thread for this, but did Urban Meyer and Riley Coopers phone #'s get leaked or something?

I mean I dunno if they were supposed to be some secret, but a friend just sent them to me.

Anyone want them?

You don't really believe her do you?

She may and may not be right but this situation is out of Tebow's and Meyer's hands. A concussion can turn fatal if he plays before he's ready which is why he HAS to be medically cleared before he can even think about stepping foot on the field. I don't think he'll be medically cleared for this game IMO.

I live by one of the offensive coaches and we talk when we see each other in the neighborhood, but he has said Zippo about the health of TT, except the standard coach talk of it's day to day. I personally don't expect him to play, but it should be a helluva game and I can't wait to get over there and enjoy some cajun hospitality and tailgating.

This is the basic thing people with "inside sources" do. They make an outlandish prediction based on their sources. If by some chance it actually happens they look credible...but if it doesn't happen then it's no biggie.

So either way she wins.

I hope it's true, and not because I think it gives LSU a better chance to win. I have a lot of respect for Tebow as a person, because of what he's accomplished and what he means to the game of college football. If he was to go out there so soon after a major concussion and get another one, he could have long-term problems.

It's not worth the risk. Even if Florida loses this one, there is every reason to believe that the Gators can still make it to the SEC title game with only the one loss. A 1-loss Florida could then win the SEC title game and still make it to the BCS championship game.

Give him a couple more weeks to recover, then let him play.
