You don't find it slightly interesting that Chizik and Coker never got a P-5 head coaching gig after winning NC's but O was hired after going 10-25 at Ole Miss? You think a winning coach's ability can only be distorted when he has a talented team to cover up for his shortcomings but not when a losing coach's team might reflect a considerable lack of talent?
Why didn’t USC hire O...or Syracuse? Everything fell through for Alleva and he was left with few options...and he fell for the binder in the pirogue trick.

I know you guys don’t know what good coaching looks like, so I don’t expect you to understand.
Look at Florida State right now dimwit. That is the legacy of Bimbo. At least aggie doesn't have that far to fall.

Jameis Winston 4 years ago tricked you stupid fricks into giving Jimbo $75 million guaranteed. GTFO with this stupid shite.
Who has the better track record without the other, Jimbo or Jameis?

Even if you’re right, he still gets credit bc he got him to LSU

You are one of the dumbest people I have ever not seen before and that's terrible

There is no way Syracuse was going to hire O - He's as far from a cultural fit as you can find in that part of the country and he wasn't a successful coordinator or head coach. Did you expect O to get the USC gig over Sark who was a highly successful OC and had a much better HC track record and stronger ties to the program? Obviously O wasn't Alleva's first choice but, his prior HC record at Ole Miss notwithstanding, I think O checked a lot of boxes in what LSU needed at the time.

One of these is not like the other. One of these barely made a bowl game last year.

Is this a real question? Without Jameis his records are as follows:
10-4
9-4
10-3
10-3
7-6
Jameis made Jimbo.
Seems totes worth $75 mil guaranteed.

LSU will likely struggle to win against Louisiana Tech this weekend and the doubters will attack. They will likely turn it around and hammer ole miss, just to keep the confusion aspect of this team alive. I’m not sold, but getting closer. In 2007 LSU beat Tulane 9-6 and went on to win it all. After the Tulane game, I was in give up mode

I love how you guys think that Jimbo's early success in a 2-horse ACC puts him on the same level as Saban. He hasn't been to a conference championship game since Jameis was his QB in 2014.

Dude he was saying jamis isn’t the same about without Jimbo. Jimbo made him a winner just like he has every other qb. Reading....try it!

I know what he was saying. Jimbo was elite with Jameis. He’s been average without him.
