Joe Brady made some questionable calls yesterday...

Most notably the play call on 4th and goal from the 1. He lines up all the receivers on one side of the field with no rb. The wr in motion didn’t even come close enough to the qb for it to appear to the defense that he was being handed the ball. At that point the only place the ball could go is a swing pass out to the left. Horrible play call. Chinks in the armor. Decisions like that will come back to bite you.

Good thing that was the toughest defense we’ll face all year

Saban called a fake FG run for his backup QB with his kicker as a lead blocker.
Chinks in the armor. Decisions like that will come back to bite you.

Saban’s proven. We’ve beat you 8 in a row. Joe Brady isn’t.

Here's what the lsu fanbase doesn't want to talk about.
That shitty playcalling has whiteboots' meddling fingerprints all over it and they know it. They're also terrified that ogeron will inject his own unique "expertise" in the Alabama game.
There's lots of reasons lsu loses this game. Whiteboots is one of them.

Who is the playcaller for LSU: Joe Brady or Ensminger? Serious question.

No one really knows. Now they'll tell you Brady calls the play and ensminger accepts or rejects it.
It's obvious though whiteboots gave ensminger alot of playcalling duties in the auburn game. He'll panic and do the same against Alabama.
In games that matter, whiteboots doesn't trust these youngsters.

Luckily we won’t face another defense as tough as Auburn’s this season

It's not clever. It's fitting.

Brady will cost us 7 games this year. He'll be lucky to cross midfield vs bama. Poor bastard is going to be exposed.

Before that play, we had 3 straight runs btw the tackles into the heart of the Auburn front 7.
Play calling was very bizarre yesterday in short yardage situations.
We've been aggressive all year with 3rd and short, but that wasn't the case yesterday.
Have to give some credit to Auburn's defense though coming out in formations that Burrow said they haven't done all year.

A gimpy QB, no running game and weak secondary, many chinks in the armour

And you know this how?

Not just the lsu fanbase.
Whiteboots makes one bad decision after another, much to the benefit of his rivals. Very milesian of him, don't you think?
Anyway, let us all take a moment shall we and examine the football savant known as Joe Brady. He played for that football power house known as William & Mary and then coached their linebackers. How was the w&m defense that season? Maybe we can find a way to give LSU's new offensive "guru" (lsu fans love the word guru) credit for that. Afterwards he simply had a couple of jobs with the word "assistant" behind his name and not much else. Grad assistant this offensive assistant that.
Is there really anything more to Joe than stopping by Starbucks and picking up everyone's coffee in the morning? Honestly, is there?
Young master Brady is a 28 year old millennial (and we know how so many of you hate millennials) who's never done anything at all that matters in this sport. I mean nothing. He's done so little in fact, you can't even trash talk the guy.
So what gives?
Is Joe the same sorta off season miles style window dressing we've always seen? I mean the lsu program now versus when miles had it is managed essentially the same. Barely scratch the surface and we can all see miles was mudbug's greatest influence. Nothing's changed there. So what's joey's purpose? Yeah I know, WR coach but he's not even qualified to do that.
Isn't it obvious why lsu has young joe? Afterall, the psychology of the crawtater isn't complicated. He fires a good coordinator he struggled to control. Hires an old friend (very milesian of him) widely thought of as one of the worst OC's in the country, who he can control. And if the pattern holds true as so many of us hope it will, he'll hire a millennial with zero experience at almost anything, who once again he can control.
I think the lsu fanbase is right. I think they'll get what they want with young Joe and in the end, the greatest benefactor will be nick saban and the Alabama crimson tide.
Taper the expectations here

I think it’s definitely Ensminger’s fingerprints, probably because of the weather/field conditions. It was certainly frustrating at times, but still 500+ yards of offense against the best defense we will face all season. I think they played ball control, and I didn’t like it, but it’s a win. Will they do it against Bama? They’d better not.
