Yes better tradition. I'm 36 btw. FSU has been far far more relevant and consistent my entire lifetime. They've won more Natty's and Heisman Trophies in my lifetime. They've put as many, if not more, players in the NFL than any other program in my lifetime. FSU is in ton top tier programs in America...easily. Auburn is in that 2nd tier with teams like UCLA and Texas A&M.

Jimbo isn't necessarily wrong but he's a dumbass for talking about that while his team is struggling. Is this supposed to make FSU fans feel better?

"we may be struggling, but we would have gotten our asses beat if we had played bama so there's that!!"

He's getting his ducks in a row for when he takes the LSU job. That's a good job...and THREE times the job Auburn is.

He's wrong about the Auburn play. Way wrong. 1 O Lineman exactly 3 yards past the LOS does not=plural O-Linemen 7 yards past the LOS.

fine if you and others believe that, but the NCAA are dipshits for not defining the issue one way or the other.

Lack of closure = dipshits

I'll add to It, just to reinforce my point even more. Show me the last time FSU had a 3-9 season. They've had all of TWO coaches in the last 40 years, Auburn has had 2 coaches in the last 5 years lol. Not to mention the most obvious...they beat you guys in the Natty a few years back.

There really is no argument for Auburn being a better or even equal program to FSU. It simply IS NOT TRUE.

I was talking about getting beat down by bama in the national championship game. Y'all should have blown them out as well.

he's also wrong about the ole miss play. the ol was around 4 yards downfield... and auburn got called for a penalty on the play because of it...

Where was FSU before Bowden? They also played as an independent during his heyday and then in one of the shittiest conferences in football.

They have one more NC. And it's ironic that one of those (1993) would be in our football building if we had been bowl eligible

They have 3 Heisman trophy winners, the last one had a rape covered up by their administration and head coach. We also have 3.

Do you want to talk facilities now?

If you can find a loophole and exploit it, more power to you. Saban was able to do that in recruiting until they changed to the bump rule. A grey area is just that.

FSU is a better program because Bobby Bowden was there a long time? Ok. Yes...they did beat us in the natty...that makes them a better program? It was one game that came down to the wire. By that rationale, Auburn is the better program than Bama because of 2013. Auburn going 3-9 one season in the SEC isn't comparable to anything FSU has done in the ACC. It just isn't comparable. I mean, I'm sure North Dakota State has a far better record than Auburn...which doesn't amount to shite.

You are right though, you just did a poor job of illustrating your point...FSU is considered sort of a bubble perennial powerhouse...not quite to the level of a USC, or Nebraska, or Ohio State, Miami, Notre Dame, or Bama...but on the bubble. Auburn really isn't. Auburn is more like Clemson...solid program, occasional contender.
