You might be surprised when a young man name Nathan Stanley takes the field in 2011. Hes 6"5 with a good built and very solid arm.
Has looked very good this spring. Looks like he could be very good.

Is he a Nutt QB?

Yeah, he was in Nutts first class here. He redshirted last year. He was an Arkansas recruit and if im not mistake Petrino still wanted him when he got there. Hes originally from Oklahoma.

Cotton has upside but hes got to wait in line, at least until 2013.
I'm not sold on Cotton yet, his passing needs to come along before he steps foot in the SEC.

Nope...Petrino went after Tyler Wilson who was the #9 Pro-style QB in the nation from Greenwood AR. He was committed to Tulsa as he wanted to play under Mal-a-zahn until Petrino came in...
This guy is having an awesome spring and is really pushing Mallett. Either QB gives us a chance to win IMO

Honestly I don't attribute that first class to Nutt. Arkansas's 2008 class I attribute to Nutt not Petrino and I attribute you 2008 class to Orgeron not Nutt. Nutt's first class was this season same as Petrino's.
I say this because the classes were pretty well set when the coaching changes occurred. With a few exceptions.

I do attribute that first class to Nutt, he came in and cleaned house. Got rid of most of the kids who stood no shot at qualifying and only kept something like 6-7 of Orgerons recruits.

Smith was actually 4th in rushing yards last year. Scott will be returning as the leader.

so by this token you are saying that nutt recruited the same quarterback wilson that you are all raving about?..

yeah we may have been set before but as soon as nutt got here anyone with grade problems was immediately dropped.. the majority of our class was picked up right near the end by nutt and staff
