etrino's offense isn't an air it out offense as it is a holy shite I don't know what the next play is gonna be offense

I never said that.
I just said that the Michael Smith numbers are misleading, because he was the only back getting the ball.
I think you guys throw the ball more now that you have a real QB.

Michael Smith is the SEC's returning leading rusher

Smith was actually 4th in rushing yards last year. Scott will be returning as the leader.

See Louisville under Petrino 52% run 48% pass on average.

Micheal Smith - 4th leader in rushing yards last year. Nothing to brag about being 4th in something.

I think what was meant is that, until he was out with injuries for the last 4-5 games, he was the leader which is true.

Michael Smith had an excellent year I won't deny that.

Had a great year. He will take a lot of pressure off Mallett. Who may struggle at the beginning of the season.

I have been corrected. Scott is the returning leading rusher. Smith is 2nd.

Regardless, my point was Smith is one of the SEC's most productive, returning backs and also lead the conference in APY.

It's hard to have a 1,000 yard rusher and call Arkansas "pass happy" when that wasn't really the case.

Maybe this year, but not so far.......

You finished 10th in the conference rushing the ball.
If you aren't pass happy, then you just plain suck.

I was referring to this year with Mallett, and a little guessing at that.

Besides Tebow, Snead is the best QB in the SEC without question.

I worry about Ole Miss this year. They could very well win the west.

We were 57% pass last year and had a 1,000 yard rusher.

That isn't exactly Texas Tech or what people would call a "pass happy" offense.

Considering we were playing from behind most of last year, those numbers seem even less "pass happy".

Point being, we all know Petrino and that he will throw when he can. But he hasn't done that so far.

That is when the honeymoon ends. The rah-rah speeches wear off, the cliches about how special the Cotton Bowl is get old, and individual accolades no longer cut it. The team will go no where but Nutt will point to so and so being 2nd in the Heisman race and on and on and on.....

Ole Miss will lead the conference every year in rushing and Nutt will point to this as a reason for Rebel fans to be happy. 5 to 9 win, post-bowl, seasons will be the norm. Rare 9 win seasons, post-bowl, being the driving force behind Nutt being retained.

Nutt is still Nutt and Rebel fans will see it soon.

You might be surprised when a young man name Nathan Stanley takes the field in 2011. Hes 6"5 with a good built and very solid arm.
