You obviously didn't know Mike Wallace. That guy felt indebted to Ole Miss because we were the only SEC team that recruited him. He played his damned heart out while a Rebel and helped beat the snot out of LSU, State, and Texas Tech his senior year.
Don't hate him because the coaches didn't utilize him properly until halfway through the season.

Yeah hopefully we won't go to the cotton bowl For the 3rd year in a row but Houston nutt was like this at Arkansas he had good games and he games that weren't worth even watching example ole miss vs state this year but ole miss will hopefully play for sec championship game we got some good recruits coming in

My bold prediction is that Ole Miss will go to the SEC Championship the first year after they change their mascot from the 'Rebels' to the Ole Miss Black Bears.

If we ever changed our nickname/mascot, it would be to "The Flood".....it is the one move that would have some political "legitimacy" to it because it was the original nickname, with Rebels only having been adopted much later....

I find it kind of pathtic that someone would go out of their way to attack a player who gave their best effort just to prove some fans wrong.

FWIW Carson Palmer thew 29 TDs and 30 INTs his first two years at USC with USC talent.

Which is about where Jevan's ceiling is going to be, unless he gets somehow becomes capable of shouldering at least some pressure.
