If you only include the years of good coaching (LSU had Miles and Saban over the last 10 years), you have to compare apples to apples.

under Slocum and Sumlin:

Sumlin = 20-6 (2 seasons)
Slocum = 115-47-2 (14 seasons)

That's 135-53-2 over 16 seasons. That averages out to 9 wins a year and a win pct of .715. While not as impressive as the Miles and Saban years, we also played in a far weaker conference during the first 7 years of Slocum (SWC).

so if we only compare good years? your argument is invalid due to retardation of the brain.

LF secretly has to be going: Nooooo, dammit.
If Hill stays, how do you see the RB situation playing out? If LF really is the best RB to come out of HS in a decade, will he be the starter? Will Hill? 50-50 split? It will be interesting.

This season:

LSU 10-3, A&M 9-4. Too bad A&M's offense got skullfricked by LSU's mediocre defense.

you Alabama folks are truly effed up in the head! LSU will beat y'all 8 out of 10 if they played 10 this year! We are just matched up well to y'all!

The rest of the country thinks they have SEC fatigue now. Ha, wait till there's a year with 3 SEC schools in the 4 team playoffs. That scenario will happen in the next 5 years, book it.

based on the language coming out of the selection committee to date - most likely it is going to be 4 conference champs from different conferences
