FIFY, your welcome in advance. BTW I will be here watching AU fall towards the Death Penalty.

If you are going to annoy me with the content of your ridiculous posts, at least learn how to properly use the quote function, so that doesn't annoy me as well. TIA

I'd rather look like an idiot denying everything than be patted on the back for outing my team. The Barners constant denials seem to be serving them well so far.

Bama went on probation for something that was posted on a message board? That's news to me.

The NCAA requires more evidence than message board fodder. Whether what he said is true or not, it will have no bearing whatsoever on any potential action that would be taken.

So, don't freak out.

No offense got 13, but why on earth would you so proudly admit the wrongdoings of this and that player especially one of your own team's players?

No offense taken. I am not proudly admitting this (shite, I wish there was nothing to say here). The BC stuff wasn't totally clean. However, I think it was handled the "right-wrong" way (if that makes sense) and nothing comes of it. The family friend knew them well before BC became a college prospect. The gift to catch up on mortgage was not tied to BC going to Bama. There are a few other ways this doesn't hurt Bama. My point in posting it all was to clear up in inaccuracies in what Lee was saying (which, if they were true & proven, would hurt Bama).

jock sniffing mentality of some SEC fans

Try again. If I was a jock sniffer I would talk about how I know this to be completely false b/c I know x,y, z. Jock sniffers see no wrong.

quote:

their bragging will get their team in trouble

I honestly don't expect Bama to get in trouble over this. Not enough proof on the major stuff, and plenty of loopholes on the small stuff.
The shite I worry about is what I don't know about. I think it is wise to avoid NCAA on your campus at all costs - even if you are confident nothing will come of the reason they are there.

quote:

No offense 13, but it's no damn wonder Alabama can't stay off probation with "fans" like you.

This is where I will take offense. I've never given a player or his family a dime. I've never broken an NCAA rule. I'm clean, so I've never contributed to the Tide going on probation. It's the guys who are not quite as connected as they want to be that get teams on probation (Logan Young as the exception to this rule). Usually, the super connected guys don't feel the need to "bend" rules to feel closer to the program. Those guys who are on the fringe want to "do their part", but don't know how to do so cleanly. They get sloppy and they get caught. I am just as connected as I want to be to Bama and I have no delusions of getting closer.

Can we go with Arky instead? They don't even belong in the SEC.

I'd love to if it meant getting rid of a coule of their posters. Unfortunately, I don't think any of us rival what Ole Miss has been doing in recruiting so they'd be the best bet on this one.

I've seen the name "Darren Woodruff" thrown around by Auburn folks.

Here is his twitter account: LINK

Here is his latest tweet from five minutes ago:

"I am going to say this one time. Before you write or say anything about me in the public you better have the facts."

Well, that makes me feel better. Having said that, Bama fans have no reason to feel confident when it comes to the NCAA and how we never receive the benefit of the doubt from them. Regardless of prior relationships (which I admit does matter to the NCAA), Alabama should be the LAST school to take any chances with anything that could remotely be misconstrued as influencing a player's college choice. As stacked as Bama is at linebacker, Brent Calloway is the last frickin recruit we should risk our NCAA health over.

Jeff Lee has to pander to retards on the AU forum. There's probably a small a amount of truth and a whole lot of straightup bullshite in his claims.

Im kind of surprised the best venue he could find to announce this bomb was a local radio station

I appreciate the interest. I am not a "barner". I have AU friends & connections, but I dislike their ath programs just as much as you. I promise.

As I told Govt, I only posted in the first place to clear up the inaccuracies in what Lee said today on radio and later posted. You don't have to believe anything I post. BC's recruitment wasn't completely clean, but it wasn't nearly as dirty as what Lee was claiming or what some other schools have done. I posted that there are enough reasons to believe - if you look at the facts of this thing - that Bama shouldn't worry much about it.

As far as I know my phone will not allow me to highlight said quote then move to the quote function to quote previous poster. So I have to do it myself. Sorry if that part of my post annoys you.
