Uou don't think OM is more nationally relevant? I think the last time we had a similar argument you wanted to point out how relevant y'all are as a research school and we took your R1 status away from you

You are truly blinded by your love for state and hate for OM if you can't recognize we are more nationally relevant and the one thing you claimed as being elite in (research) blew up right in your face should prove that to you.

Ole Miss is 100% hands down absolutely more relevant than MSU. The relevance is due to racial controversy involving a statue of James Meredith, students protesting to change the school's name along with the mascot, Katy Perry making your student body look like all they care about is partying, and now because of the massive cheating fiasco by the football program. So yes, you are correct in saying that Ole Miss is more nationally relevant than MSU. Go ask someone in the northeast or the west what the first word is they think of when they hear "Ole Miss." I dare you.

I can actually admit when state is superior in something. You can't do the opposite. If OM isn't more nationally relevant then why did state get less exposure to their NCAA investigation? It actually had pay for play and not "hey man come here and we give you money", but out of pure fear that a kid would learn how nice other places are and paid him not to visit other places. And I'm talking pre draft night. That would get anyone exposure.

Read my above post for an explanation as to why Ole Miss is more relevant.

ETA: Relevance is not always a good thing.

Why dont you triple DAWG dare me ?

My dad and brother are going to New Brunswick via Portland, Maine next week... Can I get them to ask for me ? My dad graduated from OM but my brother is an MSU alum, will that skew the responses ?

The USA today did that and the first word was "the grove", but yeah, I'm glad you can at least see we are more national relevant for whatever reason. I would think that people reading the New Yorker and seeing Reese Whetherspoom say the grove is one of the things everyone should experience visiting the south, Tom Brokaw giving the commencement, a general election debate, home of the Mannings, the blind side, etc would have more of an affect on people's minds than something that happened before they were born but yeah we have a very negative past that people love to hang onto.

You have a superior law school. I can admit to anything that is truthful. I have no problem in doing so.

Ummm, maybe because the shite yall are going through is A LOT worse than what we did? I mean, come on.

Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about or you do not know what the phrase "pay for play" means.

I enjoy giving WIO a hard time.

It is fun to read his posts because he is one that wholeheartedly believes Ole Miss is the bastion of modern civilization and everyone else is beneath them.

Yeah my definition may be off. What I mean by "pay for play" is what everyone associates dirty recruiting with, enticing players with cash so that they go to your school over another. That might not be the accurate definition but it's the only thing fans care about. I lost the kid I wanted because y'all bought him.

Now having to give a joke compliment, like best law school, does that there not show you hate too much to have a logical conversation? I bet you still think you are a better research institution with all that hate in your head.
