100th Anniversary, to the day, of Alabama's first national title.
Win or lose, pretty incredible to show up again exactly 100 years later at the same spot where the championship tradition began.

It wasn't just about Alabama either, it was about bringing respect to the entire south as southern football was completely dismissed.

A lot of great Southern teams were completely dismissed by the media of the time that would have obliterated the other schools that got a lot of attention.
1914 Tennessee
1908 LSU
1913 Auburn
And Alabama only got the invite when Tulane turned it down (who, if they had won, could have accomplished the same thing... but inviting the team who was 9-0-1 over the 10-0 team is kinda suspect.
