So you won’t put your own pride on the line, only the fortunes of sick children? Way to virtue signal. Many of us up here have donated to St. Jude’s and other charities without requiring a certain outcome of a football game.

It’s an unbalanced wager. And regardless of the outcome on Friday A&M will always and in perpetuity be little brother.

You posting that without agreeing to the wager is the very definition of “virtue signaling”

I like it Sarge.

I would only change the charity from St. Jude's to something more local to Austin.

I really want to though.

Think about how cool it'd be to have your name endorsing all of my posts

I’d be happy to consider an alternate local Austin Christian Charity

The game isn't interesting enough for you?

Just donate if you want, otherwise piss off.

If sincere I’d take that bet and I’ll go one further. I’ll be at the game and have a tailgate, come by and grab a beer and food and say hello on Friday.

I’d pay to see this.

Also I’d be fine doing a sig bet till end of playoffs. But it goes both directions.

All you have to do is donate $1,000 to Childrens hospital that you were already going to donate anyway. Then in turn gave to is Aggie arse for what a year. Bad bet. Change it around ,10 Texas guys donate $100 each if Aggies win or you kiss longhorn balls for months .

To be honest…$1K ain’t worth that sort of humiliation.

A noble gesture, of course. To a most worthy cause that I also support.

Make it more interesting.

To avoid sacrificing the pride, the rich, powerful Texas fan should be able to buy his way out of it with $10K to St Jude’s

They got all the money, right?

Be careful placing bets with tx fans or pundits

—-

(From Dec 2024):

Geoff Ketchum
@gkketch
@Eddie_Rado

$1,000 wager for 2025.

If OU wins 9 games, I'll donate $1,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Norman. If OU wins less than 9 games, you donate $1000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Austin.

Not only did he not pay he insulted just about everyone possible in doing so. This is how typical tx fans are. From last night:

OU fans have decided to fund raise and donate the $1k anyways. My guess is they’ll end up way over that amount.

And lets recall when we played Tenn last year they had a Tenn super fan/pundit who actually raised money for a local Norman charity and this year OU returned the favor. What a diff in fanbases.

People like this Ketchum loser are why we hate tx so much
