Simmons came cheap....now you want to talk about buying players....Dale Brown was really good at it. John Williams in the mid 1980's from L.A. Stanley Roberts from South Carolina....You don't think Rudy Macklin actually wanted to come to LSU because of the food when he could have played in Kentucky , or Louisville or across the river in Indiana....c'mon not to mention Maurice Williamson who was damned good when sober he came out of Connecticut.
