We ran a play that SEC officials approved before the game, while it was being ran, and confirmed legal by the referee in front of the entire country on live television.

Period.

I'm sure he wasn't. I'm also sure you didn't complain about the non-interception with LSU. Fans do that. I also don't recall Auburn fans saying that the call was correct.

What's frustrating to us is the people who argue that an illegal play wasn't illegal because it wasn't called illegal by a referee that didn't know it was illegal.

Faking an injury is not legal anymore.

I could sell you the Statue of Liberty. Wouldn’t be a legitimate deal because I don’t own it.

Part-time weekend warrior officials similarly have no right to write the rules however they feel. The fact they “checked in” before the game makes this all 100 times worse. It means the refs were completely out of their element.

Don’t change the subject. If you were not as blown up about that game as you are this game then please stop with all this. It’s not like Auburn didn’t have its chances to win anyway. Arnold blew 2 wide open touchdown passes. Driving the rest of us crazy whining isn’t going to change the outcome of the game.

They practiced and ran a play that they knew was illegal. They argue that it was legal because the ref didn't know it wasn't. That referee crew will watch this week's game from the couch.

Not outraged but it was admitted we got away with that. I brought that play up on Sunday.

OU fans only want to say "both sides got bad calls" or blame the refs for the play when their own coach celebrated the play by flicking Auburn off as if it was his team, not the refs that pulled a fast one on Auburn. Oklahoma also likes the whataboutisms: their star player was suspended for the first half (had nothing to do with Auburn), or what about when you did a hidden midget play in 2016!

I didn't change the subject, just stating facts. Most Bama fans have little credibility when attacking AU on something the SEC and film confirms as a bad call.

The sad thing is the Oklahoma fans with zero knowledge of the game of football and its rules may know more than that officiating crew.

I will admit I thought the play was legal. But like I have said I have heard it was legal and illegal. As far as the spirt of the game goes though I can’t see it being any worse than any other trick play.

The crew blew it and the SEC publicly admitted it. That’s as good as saying “we owe you one”. It could’ve and should’ve been left at that because that’s how the game’s played.

But, I’m sure donors like Yella Fella needed a statement. So, Auburn’s now blown their free pass on a strongly worded press release instead of using it on an actual in-game favor.

You’ve heard the play is illegal by everyone who knows the rules of football, including the SEC officiating office itself.

You’ve heard the play is legal from methheads in Oklahoma.

That is fair. I thought it was just a busted coverage play at first until the announcers kept talking about it which makes you wonder how Ole Miss did that play undetected.

If you can make sense of SEC officials then you have done something the rest of us has not managed to do. You should write a book and decode it for the rest of us.

Ask the REC to do it, we all saw it the SEC said it, but it fits the Bama play style.

Funny thing is UTx and OU have no idea what the REC is.

Saying OU fans don’t know football is a joke. Does Auburn of all schools command the my fans have more brain cells than your fans trophy? Cmon, this low IQ whining has to stop. Why not just say Mateer shouldn’t even have played as he was betting on sports. When does this shite stop? It’s over. Good or bad. To be very honest, Auburn was outplayed. It you objectively look at the game it was relatively even stat wise, but defensively it was clear OU had control. The difference in the game was the Mateer drive. That is it

This makes absolutely no sense. You are actually saying that Auburn would have received a favorable call in a future game but now won't because of a tweet from their AD?

Stop doing drugs.
