That explains the orange and white checkerboard print outside the bar.

The fact that myspace is even mentioned makes your comments creepy at minimum. Is she selling any services on craigs list? I imagine you checked there too

Was already like that before it became the hell hole known as Bar Knoxville. Either way, she and her husband are not boosters or season ticket holders and they allow all females in to the bar for free. I highly doubt the death penalty is coming around the corner.

This is such a non-issue... it's a fricking cover charge. I haven't paid a cover charge in months, it really isn't hard to meet people and get in without paying. If athletes were the only people getting these benefits it would be one thing but cover charges?? Give me a break...

Thats the least of the Vol program worries right now. Even if they were only allowing free charge to Vol players only that would be minor considering the charge to get in there is minimal. Not like giving them a car or anything.

she might get pissed at all these vols fans calling her a bitch, ho, slut and her busted up joint and tell the NCAA she comped drinks to football players too.

This does not matter. The old man that took Julio and Ingram on a boat trip wasn't a Bama booster either. In fact, his family and business partner were big Auburn supporters.

Doesn't matter. The NCAA rules state that athletes can not have extra benefits that the rest of the student body does not have. In other words, all the students have to be able to get in free, not just the females.

I don't think so either. But if it is proven that certain players got in free, their eligibility may be in question. They will have to pay back (charity) the amount of the money they were awarded for getting in free.

If it's determined that they were given extra benefits that the other students were not given, and they don't pay back the amount determined by the school and the NCAA, they will be ineligible - like the 5 Bama football players in the Textbook violation last year.

If they play and are determined ineligible, then the NCAA may vacate any and all wins they participated in.

How is it an extra benefit when almost everyone gets in free?

1) I am on your side insofar as I think this is silliness and hope this is no big deal

However,

2) Of course this is an extra bene. The GUYs were getting in free because they are FB players. If we were speaking of Women's Basketball, then since ALL girls get in free, then no extra.

Correct. Probably. However, with the past decade of glee and in your face crap from Vols fans that Bama had to endure with all our self made disasters, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see some ineligible players coming out of this.
