that there are so many people here that have little emoticons like - and shite @ the situation.

Unless you are 12, or you are borderline retarded, this isn't good at all for the SEC. What the frick about all this is cool or good?

Some dumbass kids Daddy is greedy (if true) and jeopardizes his son's future, and the success of Auburn University. I feel real bad for Cam, and I especially feel bad for Auburn players, students, and alumni, because despite what is alleged and/or what could happen, they were the BEST in the SEC this season.

frick all the joy -n- shite. This is NOT a good thing.

It is a shame that people want to defend Cam and act like he is a victim.

It isn't good at all but if it is true it's better to get it out in the open, no?

If it's all true, everybody deserves the punishment they will get. Playing with an ineligible player is fraud.

But coming from a Cat fan, I can see your viewpoint.

we have no control over any of this. We are just fans.

You can't deny the fact this whole deal is very interesting. We're humans here, it's natural to slow down as we're passing a wreck.

I do agree, this is not good for the SEC, a conference I truly love.

yes, I am sure Cam is completely innocent and had no idea what was going on....come on man...if you cheat you better not get caught, and if you do get caught, I dont feel sorry for him, and this wont hurt the SEC it will hurt college football and the terrible rules it has.

it is good for LSU championship hopes when the only team they lost to was cheating...it is called tigerdroppings because this is an LSU fan forum.

I'm sure you'd be saying the same thing if UK only trailed UT in the East and the Vols were probably playing an ineligible player. Riiggght.

Why? All the SEC needs is Oregon to lose to the Wildcats and/or the Beavers and the SEC will get another convincing national championship from LSU decimation of TCU(most likely) or Boise.

I don't feel sorry for cheaters who extort money from colleges. I'm very happy to see when they are caught. I really wish the worst for him. :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:

Oh look...another SEC flag waver. WGAF about the SEC!?!?! I care about GEORGIA, that's it and that's all. I couldn't care less if Auburn or the other 11 schools all got serious penalties. That's good for Georgia.

sure, they were the best SEC team this season only because they paid 200k for a QB.

College football is a 12 month thing..it's not about how you play, it's about recruiting, coaching..and what not..

if every team in cfb got to pay players, it wouldn't be as fair to the lesser colleges.

All of this rings true except the part that assumes that Cam Newton was an innocent bystander who got caught up in the greedfest between his father and the agents and boosters. Maybe, but it does strain credulity somewhat.
