My point was there's a HUGE difference financially between going to UGA on HOPE and going to Auburn out-of-state. It's not just done on a whim for most families, I would assume.

These kids have had the benefit of a better education. It may not be fair, but it is what it is. Only the brightest get into UGA nowadays. And for good or bad, most of these kids are kids from the wealthy surburbs of N Atlanta

I'm sure it is a really hard decision. Born and bred Ga fans going to AU? It takes a lot more than just being able to afford the out of state tuition. It takes a whole new mind set. But a lot of kids want to attend a major university - I guess AU qualifies. They want the SEC experience. I must say I've personally known more who went to Ole Miss and UT than AU
