We don't rely on Texas talent and never have. We certainly should supplement our talent with Texas talent though, which I don't feel we've exerted enough effort doing recently. Hopefully that changes next season.

Nobody is denying you're at an inherant disadvantage. SEC success isnt graded on a curve, though. You don't get points for recruiting well "all things considered". When "all things considered" lands you dead last in your division, the standings will reflect the actual results.

know I how know you just started following the SEC? you realize we are routinely ranked low among SEC schools, we've held up just fine, including a winning record against the Aggies.
and no, football did not start in 2012, you can't just ignore the past and it will go away.

You and I have different definitions of "fine". You havent won a conference title in 25 years and in your three ventures in the SECCCG you've lost by an average of over 20 PPG. You've lost five or more games in 15 of your 21 SEC seasons.
20 years from now, if that's all A&M has to show for our move, I'll be pissed and call it a failure.

We were also rumored to be leaving the Pac and Big Ten, too. Sorry I didnt sign up for every conference board on the internet in the hopes that they'd think more of me when the time came.
As I've said before, I didnt even know this board existed until late-September when someone on the A&M rivals site posted a link.

This is the kind of thing I'd expect an MSU fan to post. I'm surprised Arkansas fans don't have higher expectations than this. Going 8-4 and losing in the conference title game by 31 isnt my idea of success.
