Lot of 3 star guys.

major pull by BB. JLS & friends left him a cluster, or the stinky side of the sh!te (whatever you prefer).

lots of *** but hell, just a few starters or mostly starters for LSU in recent years that were 3*'s: Hurst, Lonergan, Barrow, Mo, Tahj, Logan, Williford, Jasper, Blue, Wing, Eugene, Mills...

i'm more interested in how they do going forward. they seemed to have really targeted Florida, with the assistants they've hired. they're off to a great start, imo.

It's quite a jump to call someone a 5 star type player when no service has them ranked that highly at this point. But if you want to quibble over words that's fine.

How many 2-3 stars started for arse-to-mouth this year?

Three stars from Texas =/ Three stars from Arkansas

Players are, unfairly, graded on a curve from state to state. The services take the 75th best player in Texas and slap a three star rating on him even though he'd be a four star in Oklahoma or New Mexico. If they graded everyone on the same scale then you'd get 100 four stars from Texas every year, and the percetage of Texans starting across the country and on AA teams every year play that out.

For instance, Manziel was the NATIONAL player of the year and set the Texas HS record for total TDs. No way he's a three star in Arkansas.

Louisiana talent is far superior to Arkansas talent.

so that's why the state of Texas wins so many championships in college football.

Oh wait.

I didn't think Aggie was concerned about our recruiting, yet here's Klarv.

Love it.

Every year there are 4-5 players from Arkansas who would crack the rankings if transplanted to Lousiana.

Arkansas' talent is nothing compared to the other SEC states. When Arkansas was nationally relevant 1/3rd of their roster was from Texas every year.

1: Take that up with Mack Brown. He's the one wasting top-5 recruiting classes.

2: OU has been a national power for the last 60 years almost solely because of Texas recruits.

3: When Arkansas was good, it was largely because of Texas talent.

4: Texas has produced more FBS players and more NFL draft picks than any other state and it isnt even close.

5: LSU's two recent title teams had a combined 21 scholorship Texans.

6: Eleven native Texans have finished in the top-5 in the Heisman voting in the last 10 years.

I'm tired
