IIts pretty easyr for me. Either the games hardfought with no clear winner till the 4th quarter, or Alabama wins in a blowout. Thats what usually happend when you play Alabama, regardless of how well Alabama is currently doing. Sometimes, sometimes we get owned, but its not likely enough to warrant wasting money on.

Don't feel bad the game we played against UT was almost identical. I think Poole is a underrated back.

UT's oline is legit too.

I think this lsu team had a score to settle with AU, and am surprised we didn't score more in the fourth quarter. UT had a score to settle with us which is why I was worried about the game.

There really is no score to settle with Alabama, although maybe for y'all since we beat y'all last year.

Can't wait for the arky game in tiger stadium. They are going to get everything they can imagine and more.

Small bone with ole miss too

I agree about the blowout, but am not sure what side it will be on. I will say this, lsu over the past couple years has had their backs against the wall and overcame. And we have been in more prime time spotlight games this year then I can remember. If it starts to get ugly late in the game, I feel good about miles being our coach. I like him in that spot. Besides 08 with 2 games lsu has never been blown out.

The only think I think we can really count on is lots and lots of bruises delivered by both teams. This looks to be the hardest hitting game any of us have seen.

FWIW Dooley had a great game plan for both of us they just didnt have the horses to pull it off. And even with the horses they would have probably still lost just alot closer.
They are severely lacking at every position that does not line up with their hand on the ground. Especially with all the injuries.

I agree...I really don't understand how bama or lsu fans think either team will win big. It could happen, but these teams are too good for me to think that we will beat bama easy.

I don't know if you saw the 06 AU/lsu game, but that game was unbelievably hard hitting. Hardest ever.

It could end up a instant classic. The Texas / USC NC game comes to mind.

I agree that predicting this game is the hardest I have seen, but my only gripe is that you seem to think LSU is a much less physical team? Our O-line is as physical as they come and our interior D-line can be utterly dominant when they want to.

Bama is a great team with seniors and athletes just the same, but I do not think LSU will be lacking in the toughness department. Every hit given will be met by one taken on both sides.

That really makes me feel good about our depth to be honest. I just hope our line is ready to go and we don't lose anyone paving the way for Ware and co.

gonna be a hell of a game from all indications.

07 #3 LSU 41 #17 BAMA 34
08 #1 BAMA 27 #15 LSU 21 OT
09 #3 BAMA 24 #9 LSU 15
10 #5 BAMA 21 #12 LSU 24

I think it is kinda stupid for either team to think this will be a blow out. These are two great programs and thinking either will not be on there best game is pretty far fetched.

Go back to the 1st game in 09 against VaTech, we get in the wildcat and if Smelly makes his block it's a touchdown.

He still has not made a block. It's 2011.

Smelly can catch. That's all.

Yeah, that's what I think. Not sure why the op thinks Bama is so much more physical. I'd say it's pretty even.

And why do all of the Arkansas fans assume Bama is gonna kick LSU's arse?

You know, we really lack a dynamic tight end. An Orsen Charles would be a great benefit especially in the red zone.

did you just compare TR to cam and tebow? He's not even a good as Ingram. Both are great players but neither carried the team like cam or tebow. They won NC's by themselves.
