Yes, of course.

It has nothing to do with him running up scores, nor does it necessarily mean he is a bad person at heart, but a douchebag? Yes. He whines like a little bitch and is 100% cheesy all the time.

Meyer was just as wrong when he called those timeouts last year against UGA. What goes around comes around. When Tebow leaves, there will be some teams lining up for payback! And it doesn't matter what the recruiting rules are, but I find it kind of ridiculous that a coach would text a recruit while he's on another visit.

Exhibit A: LINK.

Perhaps you would call what Urban does more akin to overaggressive lobbying/salesmanship, rather than whining, but it's still sort of douchey imo imho fwiw fyi btw.

Nukeese Richardson lied to the coaching staff about going to TN. They didn't know he was going up there. There were rumors of course but the kid never told them he was in Knoxvegas.

He lied up until the end when he signed with UT. He didn't have the decency to tell the staff or his recruiter. How is this a black eye for Urban?

I understand the hate but sheesh.

Doc, you linked a random blog.

If you remember he was in front of a camera answering reporter's questions. He answered it honestly in a way the would help his team the most.

What would you have prefer he said?

I personally don't have a problem with at team laying 50-60 points on their opponent as long as they are playing all of their players. The other team still has a responsibility to try to stop you until the end of the game.

I just entered "urban meyer whine" into Google and that's what I got. I remember him whining/lobbying in multiple years in the weeks leading up the BCS NCG. He sort of went overboard, in my opinion, and he says cheesy crap about recruiting stuff all the time.

I'm not saying he's a bad person, and I'm not saying he's a bad coach. I'm just saying that he kind of acts like a douchebag. I really don't care enough about the guy to post in this thread again, but you know, the question was asked, so I responded.

Spurs always said it was the defense's job to stop him.

And that's why I loved Meyer handing Shiny Pants his head last fall in Gainesville. Wasn't much fun,was it Stevie ?
